在彼兇暴者息騷擾、困憊者得康寧、

在彼爭競者息、困憊者安。

There the wicked cease from turmoil, and there the weary are at rest.

In the grave, sinful people don’t cause trouble anymore. And there tired people find rest.

There the wicked cease from troubling, and there the weary are at rest.

For in death the wicked cause no trouble, and the weary are at rest.

There the wicked cease to make trouble, and there the weary find rest.

There the wicked cease from raging, And there the weary are at rest.

There the wicked cease from troubling, And there the weary are at rest.

There the wicked cease from troubling; And there the weary are at rest.

There the wicked cease to make trouble, and there the weary find rest.

Then I heard a voice from heaven say,“ Write this:‘ Blessed are the dead, those who die in the Lord from this moment on!’”“ Yes,” says the Spirit,“ so they can rest from their hard work, because their deeds will follow them.”

Thus we must make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.

Consequently a Sabbath rest remains for the people of God.

“ O that you would hide me in Sheol, and conceal me till your anger has passed! O that you would set me a time and then remember me!

Will it go down to the barred gates of death? Will we descend together into the dust?”

The godly perish, but no one cares. Honest people disappear, when no one minds that the godly disappear because of evil.Those who live uprightly enter a place of peace; they rest on their beds.

For it is right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,and to you who are being afflicted to give rest together with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

( for while he lived among them day after day, that righteous man was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)

“ I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more they can do.

Fear and panic overpower me; terror overwhelms me.I say,“ I wish I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and settle in a safe place!Look, I will escape to a distant place; I will stay in the wilderness.( Selah)I will hurry off to a place that is safe from the strong wind and the gale.”
