“ Surely there is a mine for silver, And a place where gold is refined.

『因為出銀子總有礦，煉金子也有一定地方。

出銀有鑛、鍊金有方、

出銀有自、煉金有方、

銀有穴可尋、鍊金有處可得、

There is a mine for silver and a place where gold is refined.

There are mines where silver is found. There are places where gold is purified.

“ Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place for gold that they refine.

“ People know where to mine silver and how to refine gold.

Surely there is a mine for silver and a place where gold is refined.

“ Certainly there is a mine for silver And a place for refining gold.

Surely there is a mine for silver, And a place for gold which they refine.

Surely there is a mine for silver and a place where gold is refined.

Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold[ where] they fine[ it].

“ Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place where gold is refined.

“ Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place for gold which they refine.

Now for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might: gold for things to be made of gold, silver for things of silver, bronze for things of bronze, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood, onyx stones, stones to be set, glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance.Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses;the gold for things of gold and the silver for things of silver, and for all kinds of work to be done by the hands of craftsmen. Who then is willing to consecrate himself this day to the Lord?”

Thus Solomon had all the furnishings made for the house of the Lord: the altar of gold, and the table of gold on which was the showbread;the lampstands of pure gold, five on the right side and five on the left in front of the inner sanctuary, with the flowers and the lamps and the wick-trimmers of gold;the basins, the trimmers, the bowls, the ladles, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner room( the Most Holy Place) and for the doors of the main hall of the temple.

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, And a man is valued by what others say of him.

“ But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap.He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.

that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the Lord tests the hearts.

All King Solomon’s drinking vessels were gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Not one was silver, for this was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon.

The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there.

“ My Lord, listen to me; the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver. What is that between you and me? So bury your dead.”

The words of the Lord are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times.

So it was, when the camels had finished drinking, that the man took a golden nose ring weighing half a shekel, and two bracelets for her wrists weighing ten shekels of gold,

I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say,‘ This is My people’; And each one will say,‘ The Lord is my God.’”
