It hurls itself against him without mercy as he flees headlong from its power.

It blows against them without mercy. They try to escape from its power.

It hurls at him without pity; he flees from its power in headlong flight.

It whirls down on them without mercy. They struggle to flee from its power.

It blasts at him without mercy, while he flees desperately from its force.

For it will hurl at him without mercy; He will certainly try to flee from its power.

For God shall hurl at him, and not spare: He would fain flee out of his hand.

While the Egyptians were trying to escape from it, the Lord threw them into the sea.The waters came back and covered the chariots and horsemen, the entire army of Pharaoh, that had gone after them into the sea. None of them survived.

What will you do on the day of punishment when devastation comes from far away? Who will you run to for help? Where will you leave your wealth?

“ I will pile disasters on them; I will use up My arrows against them.

Escape will fail the swift, the strong one will not prevail by his strength, and the brave will not save his life.

As they fled before Israel, the Lord threw large hailstones on them from the sky along the descent of Beth-horon all the way to Azekah, and they died. More of them died from the hail than the Israelites killed with the sword.

Don’t be afraid.” So he went into her tent, and she covered him with a rug.He said to her,“ Please give me a little water to drink for I am thirsty.” She opened a container of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him again.Then he said to her,“ Stand at the entrance to the tent. If a man comes and asks you,‘ Is there a man here?’ say,‘ No.’”While he was sleeping from exhaustion, Heber’s wife Jael took a tent peg, grabbed a hammer, and went silently to Sisera. She hammered the peg into his temple and drove it into the ground, and he died.

Otherwise, I am going to send all My plagues against you, your officials, and your people. Then you will know there is no one like Me in all the earth.

But the sight of the wicked will fail. Their way of escape will be cut off, and their only hope is their last breath.

He spoke as I listened to the others,“ Pass through the city after him and start killing; do not show pity or spare them!Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, as well as the older women and little children, but do not come near anyone who has the mark. He did not even spare His own Son but offered Him up for us all; how will He not also with Him grant us everything?

If he flees from an iron weapon, an arrow from a bronze bow will pierce him.

“ Therefore, as I live”— this is the declaration of the Lord God—“ I am going to cut you off and show you no pity, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable practices and abominations. Yes, I will not spare you.
