散佈在太陽、月亮和天上眾星之下，就是他們從前所喜愛、所事奉、所隨從、所求問、所敬拜的。這些骸骨不被收殮，不被埋葬，必在地面上成為糞土。

觀看我的人，他的眼必不看見我；你的眼目投向我，我卻不在了。

有人至死身體強壯，盡得平順安逸；他的肚腹充滿奶汁，他的骨髓滋潤。有人至死心中痛苦，從未嘗過福樂的滋味；他們同樣躺臥於塵土，蟲子覆蓋他們。

恨惡你的要披戴羞愧，惡人的帳棚必歸於無有。」

但壯士一死就消逝了；人一氣絕，他在何處呢？

我知道你要使我歸於死亡，到那為眾生所定的陰宅。

他必永遠滅亡，像自己的糞一樣。看見他的人要說：『他在哪裏呢？』他必如夢飛去，不再尋見；他被趕走，如夜間的異象。親眼見過他的，必不再見他；他自己的地方也不再見到他。

人一躺下就不再起來，等到諸天沒有了，仍不復醒，也不能從睡中喚醒。惟願你把我藏在陰間，把我隱藏，直到你的憤怒過去；願你為我定下期限，並記得我。壯士若死了能再活嗎？我在一切服役的日子中等待，直到我退伍的時候來到。你呼叫，我就回答你；你手所做的，你必期待。
