Those are only on the edges of what he does. They are only the soft whispers that we hear from him. So who can understand how very powerful he is?”

看啊，这不过是祂作为的一斑，是我们听到的少许回音！谁能领悟祂的雷霆万钧？”

这些不过是他的作为的一点点，我们从他那里所听到的，是多么的微小！他大能的雷声谁能够明白呢？”

看哪，這不過是上帝行化之邊際；我們所聽於他的、是何等細微的低語啊！至於他大能之雷轟聲、誰能領會透呢？』

此其工作之末、我所聞之聲響、何其微小、至其力之雷霆、又孰能測之、

此其小者也、我所聞者止此、若夫雷霆轟烈、又孰能測之耶。

此天主經綸之少許、我儕所聞者亦祗此少許、天主發雷霆顯大力、誰能測之、

And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of his power?”

These are but the fringes of his ways; how faint is the word we hear of him! Who can understand his mighty thunder?

Behold, these are the fringes of His ways; And how faint a word we hear of Him! But His mighty thunder, who can understand?”

Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways, And how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?”

These are but the fringes of His ways; how faint is the word we hear of Him! Who can understand His mighty thunder?

“ A message came to me in secret. It was as quiet as a whisper.

“ Do you know how deep the mysteries of God are? Can you discover the limits of the Mighty One’s knowledge?They are higher than the heavens above. What can you do? They are deeper than the deepest parts of the earth below. What can you know?They are longer than the earth. They are wider than the ocean.

I’m amazed at how well you know me. It’s more than I can understand.

Who can understand how God spreads out the clouds? Who can explain how he thunders from his home in heaven?

What we know now is not complete. What we prophesy now is not perfect.But when what is complete comes, the things that are not complete will pass away.When I was a child, I talked like a child. I thought like a child. I had the understanding of a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.Now we see only a dim likeness of things. It is as if we were seeing them in a foggy mirror. But someday we will see clearly. We will see face to face. What I know now is not complete. But someday I will know completely, just as God knows me completely.

Is your arm as powerful as mine is? Can your voice thunder as mine does?

Those who oppose the Lord will be totally destroyed. The Most High God will thunder from heaven. The Lord will judge the earth from one end to the other.“ He will give power to his king. He will give honor to his anointed one.”

Lord, you are great. You are really worthy of praise. No one can completely understand how great you are.

Look up toward the sky. Who created everything you see? The Lord causes the stars to come out at night one by one. He calls out each one of them by name. His power and strength are great. So none of the stars is missing.Family of Jacob, why do you complain,“ The Lord doesn’t notice our condition”? People of Israel, why do you say,“ Our God doesn’t pay any attention to our rightful claims”?Don’t you know who made everything? Haven’t you heard about him? The Lord is the God who lives forever. He created everything on earth. He won’t become worn out or get tired. No one will ever know how great his understanding is.He gives strength to those who are tired. He gives power to those who are weak.

The voice of the Lord is heard over the waters. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the mighty waters.

How very rich are God’s wisdom and knowledge! How he judges is more than we can understand! The way he deals with people is more than we can know!
