我又觀看，見有一朵白雲，雲上坐着的彷彿是人子；他頭上戴着金的華冠，手中執有快利的鐮刀。另有一位天使從殿堂中出來，向那坐在雲上的大聲喊着說：『送出你的鐮刀去收割吧，因為收割的時候到了，因為地上的莊稼熟透了。』那坐在雲上的一出動他的鐮刀到地上，地就被收割了。另有一位天使從天上的殿堂中出來，他也執有一把快利的鐮刀。另有一位天使從祭壇上出來，是有權柄掌管火的；他向那執有快利鐮刀的大聲呼喊說：『送出你快利的鐮刀、去收採地上葡萄樹纍纍的果子吧，因為它的葡萄成熟了。』那天使出動他的鐮刀在地上，收採了地上的葡萄樹，出動在上帝震怒之大酒醡中。那酒醡在城外被踹着，有血從酒醡中流出；漲到馬嚼環那麼高，流到六百里那麼遠。

一眨眼間他們怎樣地成了荒涼啊！他們全都被可怕的災難滅盡了。

惡人發生如草，一切作孽之人一時發旺，正是要永久消滅的。

來，如今請注意！富足的人哪，應當因你們的慘難、那將要臨到的慘難、來哭泣號咷。你們的財富朽壞了；你們的衣裳給蟲子蛀了；你們的金銀長鏽了；它們的鏽必作證定你們的罪，必像火一樣喫你們的肉。在末後的日子，你們還積藏了財寶！

日頭一出，帶着熱風，便使那草枯乾；它的花就凋謝，它美麗的樣子便消沒了。富足的人正在進行他的事業時、也必這樣衰殘。

我見過惡人強橫可怖，挺然高聳、像茂盛的香柏樹。我從那裏經過，啊，已經沒有了；我尋找他，卻找不着。

恨惡你的必披戴着慚愧；惡人的公館必歸於無有。』

就像收割人收集站着的莊稼，用手割取穗子；又像人在利乏音山谷撿遺落的穗子。好像橄欖樹被打了，樹上還有剩下的、可供摘取：在儘上頭的枝梢上兩三個；在那果樹的旁枝上四五個：這是永恆主以色列之上帝發神諭說的。

惡人的歡躍就是短暫，不拜上帝之人的喜樂只是眨眼間麼？
