His reproach will not be wiped away.For jealousy arouses the fury of the husband. He won’t spare in the day of vengeance.He won’t regard any ransom, neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.

They say,“ How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say,‘ Yahweh doesn’t see us. Yahweh has forsaken the land.’”

You say,‘ What does God know? Can he judge through the thick darkness?Thick clouds are a covering to him, so that he doesn’t see. He walks on the vault of the sky.’
