So that they go around naked without clothing. Being hungry, they carry the sheaves.

使人赤身无衣，到处流行，且因饥饿扛抬禾捆，

困苦人赤身无衣，到处流浪，饿着肚子扛抬禾捆，

困苦人赤身无衣，到处流浪，饿着肚子扛抬禾捆，

使他们赤身露体地流浪，饿着肚子扛禾捆。

因此穷人赤身露体流浪，他们因饥饿就抬走禾捆；

使人赤身無衣，到處流行，且因飢餓扛擡禾捆，

使之無衣、裸體游行、枵腹而負禾束、

使彼裸體從其後、枵腹負其禾、

使之無衣、裸身而行、又使之饑負禾束、

Lacking clothes, they go about naked; they carry the sheaves, but still go hungry.

The poor don’t have any clothes. They go around naked. They carry bundles of grain, but they still go hungry.

They go about naked, without clothing; hungry, they carry the sheaves;

The poor must go about naked, without any clothing. They harvest food for others while they themselves are starving.

Without clothing, they wander about naked. They carry sheaves but go hungry.

They trample on the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and deny justice to the oppressed; and a man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name;and they lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.

Therefore, because you trample on the poor, and take taxes from him of wheat: You have built houses of cut stone, but you will not dwell in them. You have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink their wine.For I know how many your offenses, and how great are your sins— you who afflict the just, who take a bribe, and who turn away the needy in the courts.

When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go again to get it. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
