有人至死心中苦痛，从未尝过幸福的滋味。

有人到死的时候心里痛苦，一生未尝美食；

有人至死心中痛苦，終身未嘗福樂的滋味；

有人至死心中痛苦，從未嘗過福樂的滋味；

有人至死心中苦痛，從未嚐過幸福的滋味。

有人到死的時候心裡痛苦，一生未嘗美食；

有人至死心裏愁苦，未曾嘗過福樂。

又有至死、心懷困苦、未嘗享福、

或至死、困苦盈懷、終不享福、

有人至死愁苦、終不享福、

Another dies in bitterness of soul, never having enjoyed anything good.

Others die while their spirits are bitter. They’ve never enjoyed anything good.

Another dies in bitterness of soul, never having tasted of prosperity.

Another person dies in bitter poverty, never having tasted the good life.

Yet another person dies with a bitter soul, having never tasted prosperity.

While another dies with a bitter soul, Never even tasting anything good.

Another man dies in the bitterness of his soul, Never having eaten with pleasure.

And another dieth in bitterness of soul, And never tasteth of good.

Yet another person dies with a bitter soul, having never tasted prosperity.

And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure.

And another man dies in bitterness of soul, never having tasted anything good.

Another dies in bitterness of soul, and never tastes of good.

「我甚至不封我的口；我靈愁苦，要發出言語；我心苦惱，要吐露哀情。

他又對我說：「人子，看哪，我必斷絕耶路撒冷糧食的供應。他們要帶着憂慮限量吃餅；帶着驚惶限量喝水。他們因缺糧缺水，彼此驚惶，在自己的罪孽中消滅。」

就是人蒙神賜他財富、資產和尊榮，以致他心裏所願的一樣都不缺，只是神使他不能享用，反被外人享用。這是虛空，也是禍患。

「遭受患難的人為何有光賜給他呢？心中愁苦的人為何有生命賜給他呢？

她說：「我指着永生的耶和華－你的神起誓，我沒有餅，罈內只有一把麵，瓶裏只有一點油。看哪，我去找兩根柴，帶回家為我和我兒子做餅。我們吃了，就等死吧！」

「人子啊，你吃飯時必戰抖，喝水時必驚惶憂慮。

「我厭惡自己的性命，任由我述說自己的苦情；因心裏苦惱，我要說話。

心中的苦楚，只有自己知道；心裏的喜樂，陌生人無法分享。

戶篩又說：「你知道，你父親和他的人都是勇士，他們心裏惱怒，如同田野中失去小熊的母熊一樣；而且你父親是個戰士，必不和百姓一同住宿。

我還有甚麼可說的呢？他應許我的，他已成就了。我因心裏的苦楚，在一生的年日必謙卑而行。主啊，人得存活是在乎此，我的靈存活也全在乎此；求你使我痊癒，仍然存活。看哪，我受大苦是為使我得平安；你愛我，救我的性命脫離敗壞的地府，將我一切的罪扔在你背後。

他的肚腹正要滿足的時候，神必將猛烈的憤怒降在他身上；他正在吃飯的時候，神要將這憤怒如雨降在他身上。

他不容我喘一口氣，倒使我飽受苦惱。
