If you live under the power of sin, you will die. But by the Spirit’s power you can put to death the sins you commit. Then you will live.

If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It would be better for you to enter God’s kingdom with only one hand than to go into hell with two hands. In hell the fire never goes out.

If your right eye causes you to sin, poke it out and throw it away. Your eye is only one part of your body.
