So the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.”

耶和华对撒但说：“他在你手中，只要存留他的性命。”

耶和华说：“好吧，他在你手中，但要留他一命。”

耶和华对撒但说：“好吧，他在你手中，不过，要留存他的命。”

耶和華說：「好吧，他在你手中，但要留他一命。」

永恆主對撒但說：『看哪，他都讓你手擺布；只是他的性命你卻要保存。』

耶和華曰、彼在爾手、惟存其生、

耶和華曰、任爾為之、勿喪其命。

The Lord said to Satan,“ Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ All right. I am handing him over to you. But you must spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand; only spare his life.”

“ All right, do with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan.“ But spare his life.”

“ Very well,” the LORD told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thy hand; only spare his life.

“ Very well,” the Lord told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he[ is] in thine hand; but save his life.

So the LORD said to Satan,“ All right, he is in your power; only preserve his life.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand. Only spare his life.”

Then the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not reach out and put your hand on him.” So Satan departed from the presence of the Lord.

No temptation has overtaken you except something common to mankind; and God is faithful, so He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to sift you men like wheat;but I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail; and you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

For He had already commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had seized him many times; and he was bound with chains and shackles and kept under guard, and yet he would break the restraints and be driven by the demon into the desert.And Jesus asked him,“ What is your name?” And he said,“ Legion”; because many demons had entered him.And they were begging Him not to command them to go away into the abyss.Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding there on the mountain; and the demons begged Him to permit them to enter the pigs. And He gave them permission.And the demons came out of the man and entered the pigs; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.

And I placed boundaries on it And set a bolt and doors,And I said,‘ As far as this point you shall come, but no farther; And here your proud waves shall stop’?

Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the turmoil of the nations.

When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.And he took hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
