耶和华对撒但说：“好吧，他在你手中，不过，要留存他的命。”

永恆主對撒但說：『看哪，他都讓你手擺布；只是他的性命你卻要保存。』

耶和華曰、彼在爾手、惟存其生、

耶和華曰、任爾為之、勿喪其命。

The Lord said to Satan,“ Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ All right. I am handing him over to you. But you must spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand; only spare his life.”

“ All right, do with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan.“ But spare his life.”

“ Very well,” the LORD told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

So the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thy hand; only spare his life.

“ Very well,” the Lord told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he[ is] in thine hand; but save his life.

So the LORD said to Satan,“ All right, he is in your power; only preserve his life.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand. Only spare his life.”

耶和华对撒但说：“好吧，他所有的一切都交在你手中，只是不可以伸手害他。”于是撒但从耶和华面前退去。

你们所受的试探，无非是人受得起的；神是信实的，他必不容许你们受试探过于你们承受得起的，而且在受试探的时候，必定给你们开一条出路，使你们能忍受得住。

“西门，西门，撒但设法要得着你们，好筛你们像筛麦子一样；但我已经为你祈求，叫你的信心不至失掉。你回头的时候，要坚固你的弟兄。”

你不要怕你将要受的苦。看哪！魔鬼将要把你们中间几个人下在监里，叫你们受试炼，你们要受患难十天。你要忠心至死，我就把那生命的冠冕赐给你。

因为耶稣已经吩咐这污灵从那人身上出来。原来这污灵屡次抓住那人；那人被铁链和脚链捆锁，而且有人看管，他竟挣断锁链，被鬼赶入旷野。耶稣问他：“你叫什么名字？”他说：“群。”因为进到那人里面的鬼很多。他们求耶稣，不要赶他们进入无底坑。那里有一大群猪正在山上吃东西。他们求耶稣准他们进入猪群。耶稣准许了，鬼就从那人身上出来，进入猪群，猪群闯下山崖，掉在海里淹死了。

我为海定界限，又安置门闩和门户，说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过，你狂傲的波浪要在这里止住。’

你平息了海洋的洪涛和澎湃的巨浪，以及万民的喧哗。

那一千年完了，撒但就要从监牢里被释放出来。

我又看见一位天使从天上降下来，手里拿着无底坑的钥匙和一条大锁链。他捉住了那龙，那古蛇，就是魔鬼，撒但，把它捆绑了一千年。
