耶和华说：“好吧，他在你手中，但要留他一命。”

永恆主對撒但說：『看哪，他都讓你手擺布；只是他的性命你卻要保存。』

The Lord said to Satan,“ Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ All right. I am handing him over to you. But you must spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand; only spare his life.”

“ All right, do with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan.“ But spare his life.”

“ Very well,” the LORD told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

So the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thy hand; only spare his life.

“ Very well,” the Lord told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he[ is] in thine hand; but save his life.

So the LORD said to Satan,“ All right, he is in your power; only preserve his life.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand. Only spare his life.”

耶和华对撒旦说：“好吧，他的一切都在你手中，但不可伤害他。”撒旦便从耶和华面前退去。

你们遇见的诱惑无非是人们常见的。上帝是信实的，祂绝不会让你们遇见无法抵挡的诱惑，祂必为你们开一条出路，使你们经得住诱惑。

耶稣说：“西门！西门！撒旦已经要求像筛麦子一样筛你们，但我已经为你祷告了，叫你不至于失去信心。你回头以后，要让你的弟兄刚强。”

你不要害怕将要遭受的苦难。魔鬼要将你们当中的一些人下在监里，试炼你们，你们必遭受十天的迫害。但你要至死忠心，我必赐给你生命的冠冕。

这是因为耶稣已命令污鬼离开那人。那人多次被污鬼操纵，人们用铁链脚镣把他锁起来看管，他竟把锁链也扯断，被鬼催逼到荒野。耶稣问他：“你叫什么名字？”他说：“我叫‘群’。”因为有一大群鬼附在那人身上。鬼不断央求耶稣不要叫它们到无底坑去。当时有一大群猪在附近山坡上觅食，污鬼就央求耶稣准许它们进入猪群，耶稣答应了。于是那群鬼便离开那人，进入猪群。那群猪就一路奔下陡坡，冲进湖里淹死了。

是我为它划定界限，并安上门和闩，说，‘你到此为止，不可越界；你狂傲的波涛要停在这里。’

又平息怒海狂涛，止息列邦的喧嚣。

那一千年过后，撒旦会从被监禁的地方得到释放。

我又看见一位天使从天而降，手里拿着无底坑的钥匙和一条大锁链。他捉住巨龙，就是那古蛇——魔鬼，又名撒旦，将它捆绑一千年。
