生人之始豈爾乎、有山以前豈爾乎。

“你岂是头一个被生的人吗？你受造在诸山之先吗？

“你是头一个生下来的人吗？你受造在诸山之先吗？

你岂是第一个出生的人？你岂在群山之前被造？

你是头一个生下来的人吗？你在诸山未有之前诞生的吗？

你豈是頭一個被生的人嗎？你受造在諸山之先嗎？

『你哪是頭一個生下來的人呢？你被產出、是在岡陵之先麼？

爾為首生之人乎、爾之受造、先於山乎、

爾生於世、豈首人乎、爾受造豈在有山以前乎、

山崗未為爾所立、寰宇未為爾所造、自亘古迄叔季、爾為上帝、無始無終兮、

越在古昔、造化之始、我與耶和華共在。自元始、天地之先、我已為尊。未有深淵、未有源泉、未有山岡、已有我矣。

我肇基大地之時、汝安在、知則告我。誰為量度、誰為準繩、何地築址基、何人立四隅、當時星使欣咏、天神謳歌、海水初生、孰堤防之、若閉其門、其蔽以密雲、遮以靉靆、定其界址、設其門楗、語之曰、至此則可、不得越其防、爾之洪濤澎湃、至此而止者、非我乎。爾誕生以來、亦曾命旭日升、黎明至乎。地之四極、輝光既布、宵小匿跡、宇宙一新、如印印泥、如人衣衣、作惡者流、不以光為光、光天之下、不敢作為。海之泉源、爾豈能窮、淵之深處、爾豈能及。爾豈能啟陰司之戶、窺暗府之門、大地之長廣、爾豈能測、如知之、試言之。光在何方、暗在何所、爾豈識其途、能導人造其境乎。

亞當與婦夏娃同室、懷妊生子該隱、云、耶和華佑我、我即得子。

我中尚有老成人、皓然白首、其年較爾父尤長、

智與年而俱進、慧與壽以並增。
