Would they argue with useless words, with speeches that have no value?

Then Job spoke again:“ How you have helped the powerless! How you have saved the weak!How you have enlightened my stupidity! What wise advice you have offered!

As for you, you smear me with lies. As physicians, you are worthless quacks.If only you could be silent! That’s the wisest thing you could do.

And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”

Anyone who teaches something different is arrogant and lacks understanding. Such a person has an unhealthy desire to quibble over the meaning of words. This stirs up arguments ending in jealousy, division, slander, and evil suspicions.These people always cause trouble. Their minds are corrupt, and they have turned their backs on the truth. To them, a show of godliness is just a way to become wealthy.

“ I have heard all this before. What miserable comforters you are!Won’t you ever stop blowing hot air? What makes you keep on talking?

Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.

What have we gained by obeying his commands or by trying to show the Lord of Heaven’s Armies that we are sorry for our sins?From now on we will call the arrogant blessed. For those who do evil get rich, and those who dare God to punish them suffer no harm.’”
