That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest[ such] words go out of thy mouth?

以致你的灵反对上帝，你的口说出这样的言语呢？

以致你向上帝发怒，口出恶言？

以致你的心灵转过来抗拒神，从你的口中竟发出这样的话？

使你的靈反對神，也任你的口發這言語？

以致你的靈反對上帝，你的口說出這樣的言語呢？

以致你的靈反對神，你的口說出這樣的言語呢？

以致你向上帝發怒，口出惡言？

以致你的心靈轉過來抗拒神，從你的口中竟發出這樣的話？

以致你的氣針對着上帝，而讓你的口發出這樣的話語呢？

致爾專心逆上帝、任口出言詞、

心逆上帝、口述妄言。

爾竟向天主發怒、口出妄言、

so that you vent your rage against God and pour out such words from your mouth?

Why do you get so angry with God? Why do words like those pour out of your mouth?

that you turn your spirit against God and bring such words out of your mouth?

that you turn against God and say all these evil things?

as you turn your anger against God and allow such words to leave your mouth?

That you can turn your spirit against God And produce such words from your mouth?

That you turn your spirit against God, And let such words go out of your mouth?

That against God thou turnest thy spirit, And lettest words go out of thy mouth?

as you turn your anger against God and allow such words to leave your mouth?

when you turn your rage against God and allow such words to escape from your mouth?

That you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same[ is] a perfect man,[ and] able also to bridle the whole body.Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.Behold also the ships, which though[ they be] so great, and[ are] driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!And the tongue[ is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

For he stretcheth out his hand against God, and strengtheneth himself against the Almighty.He runneth upon him,[ even] on[ his] neck, upon the thick bosses of his bucklers:Because he covereth his face with his fatness, and maketh collops of fat on[ his] flanks.

[ He is] wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened[ himself] against him, and hath prospered?

[ Is it] good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

Because the carnal mind[ is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth[ abundantly].

Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken[ so much] against thee?

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion[ is] vain.
