“ If only you would hide me in the grave and conceal me till your anger has passed! If only you would set me a time and then remember me!

Oh that you would hide me in Sheol, that you would conceal me until your wrath be past, that you would appoint me a set time, and remember me!

“ I wish you would hide me in the grave and forget me there until your anger has passed. But mark your calendar to think of me again!

“ Oh that You would hide me in Sheol, That You would conceal me until Your wrath returns to You, That You would set a limit for me and remember me!

“ Oh, that You would hide me in the grave, That You would conceal me until Your wrath is past, That You would appoint me a set time, and remember me!

Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by.See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. In that day you will say:“ I will praise you, Lord. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. (niv)

He said to them:“ It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. (niv)

But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. (niv)

Then he said,“ Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” (niv)

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death. (niv)

For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.” (niv)
