然我亦有聰明、不亞於爾、所言之事、誰不知之、

我之慧心、與爾何異、爾無能過我、爾所言者、誰不知之。

我亦有才思、才思或作慧心與爾無異、並非不及爾、誰不知爾之所知、誰不知爾之所知或作爾所言者誰不知之

But I have a mind as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know all these things?

But I have a brain, just like you. I’m as clever as you are. In fact, everyone knows as much as you do.

But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know such things as these?

Well, I know a few things myself— and you’re no better than I am. Who doesn’t know these things you’ve been saying?

But I also have a mind like you; I am not inferior to you. Who doesn’t know the things you are talking about?

But I have intelligence as well as you; I am not inferior to you. And who does not know such things as these?

But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Indeed, who does not know such things as these?

你們所知道的，我也知道，並非不及你們。我真要對全能者說話；我願與神理論。你們是編造謊言的，都是無用的醫生。惟願你們全然不作聲；這就算為你們的智慧！

物淡而無鹽豈可吃嗎？蛋青有甚麼滋味呢？看為可厭的食物，我心不肯挨近。

不要照愚昧人的愚妄話回答他，恐怕你與他一樣。

無能的人蒙你何等的幫助！膀臂無力的人蒙你何等的拯救！無智慧的人蒙你何等的指教！你向他多顯大知識！

我說這話是羞辱自己，好像我們從前是軟弱的。然而，人在何事上勇敢，（我說句愚妄話，）我也勇敢。他們是希伯來人嗎？我也是。他們是以色列人嗎？我也是。他們是亞伯拉罕的後裔嗎？我也是。他們是基督的僕人嗎？（我說句狂話，）我更是。我比他們多受勞苦，多下監牢，受鞭打是過重的，冒死是屢次有的。

但我想，我一點不在那些最大的使徒以下。
