“ If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer!

“你若将心安正，又向主举手；

“至于你，若坚固己心，又向主举手；

你若心里归向他，又向他伸手祷告；

『你呢，你若將心守正，伸開雙手向他禱告——

爾若秉心正直、向上帝舉手、

爾如洗心、祈禱上帝、

爾若定心、定心或作洗心向天主舉手、

“ Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him,

“ So commit yourself to God completely. Reach out your hands to him for help.

“ If you prepare your heart, you will stretch out your hands toward him.

As for you, if you redirect your heart and spread out your hands to him in prayer—

“ If you would direct your heart rightly And spread out your hands to Him,

“ If you would prepare your heart, And stretch out your hands toward Him;

If thou set thy heart aright, And stretch out thy hands toward him;

As for you, if you redirect your heart and lift up your hands to Him in prayer—

If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

“ As for you, if you prove faithful, and if you stretch out your hands toward him,

“ If you set your heart aright, stretch out your hands toward him.

My eyes are blinded by my tears. Each day I beg for your help, O Lord; I lift my hands to you for mercy.

Then they will not be like their ancestors— stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God.

“ Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you.Listen to his instructions, and store them in your heart.
