“ Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan. Satan answered the Lord,“ I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.”

耶和华问撒但说：“你从哪里来？”撒但回答说：“我从地上走来走去，往返而来。”

耶和华问撒旦：“你从哪里来？”撒旦答道：“我在地上到处游走。”

耶和华问撒但：“你从哪里来？”撒但回答耶和华说：“我在地上徘徊，走来走去。”

耶和華問撒但說：「你從哪裏來？」撒但回答說：「我從地上走來走去，往返而來。」

耶和華對撒但說：「你從哪裏來？」撒但回答耶和華說：「我從地上走來走去，在那裏往返。」

耶和華問撒旦：「你從哪裡來？」撒旦答道：「我在地上到處遊走。」

耶和華問撒但：“你從哪裡來？”撒但回答耶和華說：“我在地上徘徊，走來走去。”

永恆主問撒但說：『你從哪裏來？』撒但回答永恆主說：『我是漫遊地上、在那上面走來走去、回來的。』

耶和華謂撒但曰、爾奚自、對曰、徧歷塵寰、往來其間而返、

耶和華問撒但曰、汝奚自、對曰、我遍歷塵寰、往來靡定。

主問撒但曰、爾自何來、撒但對主曰、我遨遊徧地、周行地上而來、

The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord,“ From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Satan answered,“ From traveling all around the earth. I’ve been going from one end of it to the other.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.”

The LORD asked Satan,“ Where have you come from?”“ From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered him,“ and walking around on it.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ From where do you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Jehovah, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

The Lord asked Satan,“ Where have you come from?”“ From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered Him,“ and walking around on it.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

The LORD said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” And Satan answered the LORD,“ From roving about on the earth, and from walking back and forth across it.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said,“ From going back and forth in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.”

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

When he went in to his master, Elisha asked him,“ Where have you been, Gehazi?”“ I haven’t been anywhere,” he replied.

“ Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan. Satan answered the Lord,“ I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.”

“ When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none.

This great dragon— the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world— was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

Therefore, rejoice, O heavens! And you who live in the heavens, rejoice! But terror will come on the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time.”When the dragon realized that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.But she was given two wings like those of a great eagle so she could fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness. There she would be cared for and protected from the dragon for a time, times, and half a time.Then the dragon tried to drown the woman with a flood of water that flowed from his mouth.But the earth helped her by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that gushed out from the mouth of the dragon.And the dragon was angry at the woman and declared war against the rest of her children— all who keep God’s commandments and maintain their testimony for Jesus.

He will go out to deceive the nations— called Gog and Magog— in every corner of the earth. He will gather them together for battle— a mighty army, as numberless as sand along the seashore.

The rider standing among the myrtle trees then explained,“ They are the ones the Lord has sent out to patrol the earth.”Then the other riders reported to the angel of the Lord, who was standing among the myrtle trees,“ We have been patrolling the earth, and the whole earth is at peace.”

The powerful horses were eager to set out to patrol the earth. And the Lord said,“ Go and patrol the earth!” So they left at once on their patrol.
