As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things.

But you are looking for a way to kill me. I am a man who has told you the truth I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do the things you want to do.

but now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did.

Instead, you are trying to kill me because I told you the truth, which I heard from God. Abraham never did such a thing.

and the father of circumcision to them who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham which he had in uncircumcision.

So then am I become your enemy, by telling you the truth?

I know that ye are Abraham’s seed, yet ye seek to kill me, because my word hath not free course in you.I speak the things which I have seen with my Father: and ye also do the things which ye heard from your father.

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day; and he saw it, and was glad.
