I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.”

I am telling you what I saw when I was with my Father. You are doing what you have heard from your father.”

I speak of what I have seen with my Father, and you do what you have heard from your father.”

爾父即魔、爾曹由彼而出、爾喜行爾父之所欲、彼自始為殺人者、不立於真理、以其內無真理、彼言誑、乃由本性而言之、因彼為誑者、且為誑者之父也、

耶穌謂之曰、我誠告爾、子見父所行之外、由己一無能行、蓋父所行者、子亦行之、

作罪者乃由魔、蓋魔自始犯罪、天主之子顯現、為欲毀魔之作為、凡由天主而生者、不作罪、蓋天主之種存於其內、彼由天主而生、故不能犯罪、天主之子與魔之子、由此可辨、凡行不義、不愛兄弟者、非由天主、

蓋我非自擅而言、乃遣我之父、以所當述當言者命我、我知其命乃永生、故我所言者、皆遵父所告我而言也、

爾所授我之言、我已授彼、彼受之、誠知我由爾出、且信爾遣我也、

約翰見法利賽與撒度該教人、亦多就己受洗、謂之曰、蝮類乎、誰示爾避將來之怒乎、
