Among the crowds there was widespread whispering about him. Some said,“ He is a good man.” Others replied,“ No, he deceives the people.”

And there was much muttering about him among the people. While some said,“ He is a good man,” others said,“ No, he is leading the people astray.”

There was a lot of grumbling about him among the crowds. Some argued,“ He’s a good man,” but others said,“ He’s nothing but a fraud who deceives the people.”

And there was a lot of murmuring about him among the crowds. Some were saying,“ He’s a good man.” Others were saying,“ No, on the contrary, he’s deceiving the people.”

And there was a great deal of talk about Him in secret among the crowds: some were saying,“ He is a good man”; others were saying,“ No, on the contrary, He is misleading the people.”

And there was much complaining among the people concerning Him. Some said,“ He is good”; others said,“ No, on the contrary, He deceives the people.”

And there was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him: some said, He is a good man; others said, Not so, but he leadeth the multitude astray.

And there was a lot of discussion about Him among the crowds. Some were saying,“ He’s a good man.” Others were saying,“ No, on the contrary, He’s deceiving the people.”

众人听见这些话，有的说：“这真是那先知。”另有的说：“这是基督。”但也有的说：“难道基督是出自加利利吗？经上不是说‘基督是大卫的后裔，出自大卫的本乡伯利恒’吗？”于是众人因耶稣而分裂了。

于是法利赛人中有的说：“这个人不是从上帝来的，因为他不守安息日。”另有的说：“一个罪人怎能行这样的神迹呢？”他们之间就产生了分裂。

于是法利赛人说：“你们也受了迷惑吗？

法利赛人听见群众对耶稣这样议论纷纷，祭司长和法利赛人就打发圣殿警卫去捉拿他。

于是耶路撒冷人中有的说：“这个人不是他们想要杀的吗？你看，他还公开讲道，他们也不对他说什么。难道官长真的认为这是基督吗？然而，我们知道这个人从哪里来；可是基督来的时候，没有人知道他从哪里来。”

你们无论做什么事，都不要发怨言起争论，

有一个人名叫约瑟，是个议员，为人善良正直，

他们想要捉拿他，但是惧怕众人，因为众人认为他是先知。

百夫长看见所发生的事，就归荣耀给上帝，说：“这人真是个义人！”

说：“大人，我们记得那迷惑人的还活着的时候曾说：‘三天后我要复活。’

学生所遭遇的与老师一样，仆人所遭遇的与主人一样，也就够了。既然有人骂一家的主人是‘别西卜’，更何况他的家人呢？”

众人都惊奇，归荣耀给上帝，说：“有大先知在我们当中兴起了！”又说：“上帝眷顾了他的百姓！”

耶稣到了凯撒利亚‧腓立比的境内，就问门徒：“人们说人子是谁？”他们说：“有人说是施洗的约翰；有人说是以利亚；又有人说是耶利米或是先知中的一位。”耶稣问他们：“你们说我是谁？”西门‧彼得回答说：“你是基督，是永生上帝的儿子。”

善人从他心里所存的善发出善来，恶人从他所存的恶发出恶来；因为心里所充满的，口里就说出来。”

耶稣对他说：“你为什么称我是善良的？除了上帝一位之外，再没有善良的。

这巴拿巴原是个好人，满有圣灵和信心，于是有许多人归服了主。

他们回答他说：“你也是出自加利利吗？你去查考就知道，加利利是不出先知的。”

犹太人为这些话又起了分裂。其中有好些人说：“他是被鬼附了，而且疯了，为什么听他的呢？”另有的说：“这不是被鬼附的人所说的话。鬼岂能开盲人的眼睛呢？”

为义人死，是少有的；为仁人死，或者有敢做的。

人们看见耶稣所行的神迹，就说：“这真是那要到世上来的先知！”
