是時法利賽數人來、謂之曰、出而去之、希律欲殺爾也、耶穌曰、往告彼狐狸云、今日明日、我逐鬼施醫、至三日、我事畢矣、雖然、今日明日及後日、我必行矣、蓋先知不能亡於耶路撒冷外也、

耶路撒冷人有云、此非眾欲殺者乎、

我以聞於上帝之真理語爾、而爾今欲殺我、此非亞伯拉罕所行也、

我知爾為亞伯拉罕之裔、然爾欲殺我、因我道不容於爾衷也、

自是而後、眾議殺之、○故耶穌不復顯行於猶太人中、去彼而往近野之地、至一邑、名以法蓮、偕門徒居之、

眾又欲執之、乃脫其手而去、○復往約但外、至約翰初施洗之處居焉、
