到了晚上，船在湖中，只有耶稣一个人在岸上。他看见门徒们由于逆风，划船非常艰苦。天快亮的时候，耶稣在湖面上行走，向他们而去，想要从他们旁边走过去。门徒们看见耶稣在湖面上行走，以为是幽灵，于是喊叫起来，

天快亮的时候，耶稣在湖面上行走，向他们而去。门徒们看见耶稣在湖面上行走，就惊慌不安，说：“是幽灵！”他们害怕得喊叫起来。

我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我要回到你们这里来。

耶和华在至高处大有能力，胜过大水的声音，胜过海洋巨大的波浪！

耶和华坐在洪水之上，耶和华坐着为王，直到永远。

在他们说这些话的时候，耶稣亲自站在他们当中，对他们说：“愿你们平安！”他们就惊慌，感到害怕，以为看到了幽灵。耶稣对他们说：“你们为什么惊慌不安？为什么心里起疑惑呢？你们看我的手、我的脚，确实是我。摸我看看！幽灵没有骨，也没有肉，你们看，我是有的。”

然而，那些人还是拼命划桨要回到陆地，却是不能，因为海浪越来越汹涌，冲向他们。

伯大尼离耶路撒冷不远，约有三公里。

榨酒池在城外被践踏，就有血从榨酒池里流出来，高到马的嚼子，远达三百公里。

那城布置为四方形，长度和宽度一样。天使用芦苇测量那城，有两千两百公里；她的长、宽、高都是相等的。

正好在同一天，门徒中有两个人往一个村子去；这村子名叫以马忤斯，离耶路撒冷约有十一公里。
