然我所有之證、大於約翰者、蓋父委我以成之事、即我所行者、證我為父所遣也、

然我有證、大於約翰者、蓋父賜我所成之事、即我所行之事、證父遣我也、

然我有證大於約翰者、蓋父所賜我以成之事、即我所行之事、此事證我為父所遣者、

顧為予作證者、有較如望更為重要者焉。蓋父所授予之使命、令予完成、而予今猶慘澹經營者、亦為吾證、證父實曾遣予、

“ I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish— the very works that I am doing— testify that the Father has sent me.

“ What I say about myself is more important than what John says about me. I am doing the works the Father gave me to finish. These works are a witness that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me.

But I have a greater witness than John— my teachings and my miracles. The Father gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that he sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish— the very works that I do— testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish— the very works that I do— bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.

But I have greater witness than[ that] of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete– the deeds I am now doing– testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.

耶穌回答他們：「我已經告訴你們，你們卻不信。我奉我父的名所行的事可以為我作見證。

我若沒有在他們中間做過別人未曾做的事，他們就沒有罪；但如今連我與我的父，他們也看見了，也恨惡了。

這人夜裏來見耶穌，對他說：「拉比，我們知道你是由上帝那裏來作老師的；因為你所行的神蹟，若沒有上帝同在，無人能行。」

耶穌回答他們：「你們去，把所聽見、所看見的告訴約翰：

我若不做我父的工作，你們就不必信我；我若做了，你們即使不信我，也當信這些工作，好讓你們知道並且明白父在我裏面，我也在父裏面。」

耶穌在耶路撒冷過逾越節的時候，有許多人看見他所行的神蹟，就信了他的名。

因為上帝差他的兒子到世上來，不是要定世人的罪，而是要使世人因他得救。

那人回答，對他們說：「他開了我的眼睛，你們竟不知道他從哪裏來，這真是奇怪！我們知道上帝不聽罪人，惟有敬奉上帝、遵行他旨意的，上帝才聽他。從創世以來，未曾聽見有人開了生來就失明的人的眼睛。這人若不是從上帝來的，甚麼也不能做。」

「以色列人哪，你們要聽我這些話：拿撒勒人耶穌就是上帝以異能、奇事、神蹟向你們證明出來的人，這些事是上帝藉着他在你們中間施行，正如你們自己知道的。

我在地上已經榮耀你，你交給我做的工作，我已完成了。

這見證就是：上帝賜給我們永生，而這永生是在他兒子裏面的。那有上帝兒子的，就有生命；沒有上帝兒子的，就沒有生命。

其中有人說：「他既然開了盲人的眼睛，難道不能叫這人不死嗎？」

耶穌對他們說：「我的食物就是要遵行差我來那位的旨意，完成他的工作。

另有一位為我作見證，我也知道他為我作的見證是真的。

我在父裏面，父在我裏面，你不信嗎？我對你們所說的話不是憑着自己說的，而是住在我裏面的父在做他的工作。你們要信我，我在父裏面，父在我裏面；即使不信，也要因我所做的工作信我。
