然我所有之證、大於約翰者、蓋父委我以成之事、即我所行者、證我為父所遣也、

然我有證、大於約翰者、蓋父賜我所成之事、即我所行之事、證父遣我也、

然我有證大於約翰者、蓋父所賜我以成之事、即我所行之事、此事證我為父所遣者、

顧為予作證者、有較如望更為重要者焉。蓋父所授予之使命、令予完成、而予今猶慘澹經營者、亦為吾證、證父實曾遣予、

“ I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish— the very works that I am doing— testify that the Father has sent me.

“ What I say about myself is more important than what John says about me. I am doing the works the Father gave me to finish. These works are a witness that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me.

But I have a greater witness than John— my teachings and my miracles. The Father gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that he sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish— the very works that I do— testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish— the very works that I do— bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.

But I have greater witness than[ that] of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete– the deeds I am now doing– testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.

耶穌回答說：「我已經告訴你們了，你們卻不信。我奉我父的名所行的神蹟也為我做見證，

我如果沒有在他們當中行過空前的神蹟，他們就沒有罪了。然而，他們親眼看見了，竟然還恨我和我的父。

一天晚上，他來見耶穌，說：「老師，我們知道你是上帝差來教導人的，因為如果沒有上帝的同在，沒有人能行你所行的神蹟。」

耶穌回答說：「你們回去把所見所聞告訴約翰，

如果我不做我父的事，你們不必信我。但如果我做了，你們縱然不信我，也應該相信我所做的事，這樣你們就會知道、領悟父在我裡面，我也在父裡面。」

耶穌在耶路撒冷過逾越節期間，許多人看見祂行的神蹟，就信了祂。

上帝差祂的兒子到世上來，不是要定世人的罪，而是要藉著祂的兒子拯救世人。

那人說：「祂開了我的眼睛，你們竟不知道祂從哪裡來，真是奇怪。我們知道上帝不聽罪人的禱告，只聽那些敬拜祂、遵行祂旨意者的禱告。從創世以來，從未聽過有人能把天生失明的人醫好。如果這個人不是從上帝那裡來的，就什麼也不能做。」

「各位以色列人啊，請留心聽。上帝藉著拿撒勒人耶穌在你們中間行了異能、奇事和神蹟，以證明拿撒勒人耶穌是祂派來的。這是你們都知道的。

我已經完成你交給我的工作，使你在地上得了榮耀。

這見證就是：上帝已經把永恆的生命賜給我們，這生命在祂兒子裡面。人有上帝的兒子，就有這生命；沒有上帝的兒子，就沒有這生命。

其中也有人說：「祂既然能醫好瞎眼的人，難道不能叫這個人不死嗎？」

耶穌說：「我的食物就是遵行差我來者的旨意，完成祂的工作。

然而，有別的人給我做見證，我知道他為我做的見證是真實的。

難道你不相信我在父裡面，父也在我裡面嗎？我這些話不是憑自己講的，而是住在我裡面的父在做祂自己的工作。你們應當相信我在父裡面，父也在我裡面。即使你們不信，也應該因我所做的而信我。
