Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said,“ Young man, I say to you, arise.”So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.

Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice,“ Lazarus, come forth!”And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them,“ Loose him, and let him go.”

But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying,“ Little girl, arise.”Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that she be given something to eat.

Why should it be thought incredible by you that God raises the dead?

( as it is written,“ I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed— God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken,“ So shall your descendants be.”And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead( since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.

And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, that he tore his clothes and said,“ Am I God, to kill and make alive, that this man sends a man to me to heal him of his leprosy? Therefore please consider, and see how he seeks a quarrel with me.”

When Elisha came into the house, there was the child, lying dead on his bed.He went in therefore, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the Lord.And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm.He returned and walked back and forth in the house, and again went up and stretched himself out on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the Lord and said,“ O Lord my God, I pray, let this child’s soul come back to him.”
