王的臣僕對耶穌說：『先生，請在我小孩子未死以前就下去哦！』

那大臣對耶穌說：「先生，求你在我的孩子還沒有死之前下來吧！」

耶穌曰：『且返、爾子活矣！』其人信耶穌言、即辭去；

The royal official said,“ Sir, come down before my child dies.”

But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay. (niv)

While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader.“ Your daughter is dead,” they said.“ Why bother the teacher anymore?”Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him,“ Don’t be afraid; just believe.” (niv)

He pleaded earnestly with him,“ My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” (niv)

Do you show your wonders to the dead? Do their spirits rise up and praise you?Is your love declared in the grave, your faithfulness in Destruction?Are your wonders known in the place of darkness, or your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion? (niv)
