飲我所予之水者、永不渴、我所予之水、必在其中成源、湧至永生、

人若喝我所赐的水就永远不渴。我所赐的水要在他里头成为泉源，直涌到永生。”

但如果有人喝了我给他的水，就绝不干渴，直到永远。不但如此，我给他的水将要在他里面成为泉源，一直涌流到永恒的生命。”

惟獨凡喝我所要給的水的，一定永遠不渴；我所要給的水、必在他裏面成為水泉，直湧歸永生。』

惟飲我所予之水者、永不渴、蓋我所予之水、將於其中為泉、湧至永生、

婦曰：『先生盍以此水見賜、令我不復渴、亦無庸頻來汲水。』

but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

信我者、其腹必流活水之川、如經所載、耶穌言此、乃指信之者所將受之聖神、蓋當時聖神未降、以耶穌尚未得榮也、

耶穌曰、我即生命之糧、就我者必不饑、信我者永不渴、

不饑不渴、炎熱與烈日不之擊、蓋憫之者必導之、引至水泉、

爾曹聞真道、即救爾之福音、得信基督、既信之後、遂因彼受所許之聖神、為印以印爾、即我儕所得嗣業之質、待天主之民得贖、使人頌讚天主之榮、○

彼不復饑、不復渴、烈日與炎熱不得而傷之、

此乃由天降之糧、食此糧者必永生、非若爾祖食瑪拿、後亦死、

又以印印我眾、以聖神賜我在心為質、○

凡生而信我者、永不死、爾信此否、

我知天主之子臨世、賜我智慧、使我識真者、我儕在真者內、即在天主之子耶穌基督內、此乃真天主、亦為永生、○

蓋罪之償值、死也、天主恩賜乃永生、因我主耶穌基督焉、

勿使天主之聖神憂、爾由之得印、至於救贖之日、

賊至特為竊、為殺、為滅、我至使羊得生、且所得之生愈盛、

罪操權以致死亡、恩寵因義操權以致永生、皆賴我主耶穌基督而然也、

因爾以治萬民之權賜子、使子以永生賜爾所予子之人、夫永生者無他、即知爾為獨一真天主、且知耶穌基督爾所遣者、

我將求父、父必別以保慰者保慰者原文作巴拉基利土下同賜爾、偕爾永居、即真理之神、世不能接之、以其未之見、亦未之識也、惟爾識之、因彼偕爾居、亦將在爾衷、我不遺爾為孤、我必復來就爾、尚有片時、而世不復見我、惟爾曹見我、因我生、爾亦必生、

此神與我心、或作此神與我神同證我儕為天主之子、既為子則為嗣、即天主之嗣、與基督同為嗣、我儕若與之同苦、亦必與之同榮、○

爾既賴聖神、而潔己心、致能順真理、以愛兄弟無偽、則當由清潔之心、彼此切愛、

此人必入永刑、惟義者必入永生焉、
