“ How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.

Nicodemus said to him,“ How can these things be?”

“ How can these things be?” asked Nicodemus.

Nicodemus responded and said to Him,“ How can these things be?”

Then the people began arguing with each other about what he meant.“ How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” they asked.

Many of his disciples said,“ This is very hard to understand. How can anyone accept it?”

Mary asked the angel,“ But how can this happen? I am a virgin.”

I will lead blind Israel down a new path, guiding them along an unfamiliar way. I will brighten the darkness before them and smooth out the road ahead of them. Yes, I will indeed do these things; I will not forsake them.

“ What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus.“ How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”

The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.

The man looked around.“ Yes,” he said,“ I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around.”Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly.
