But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down from above)

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

“ For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself:‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at My right hand,

The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,

( Now this,“ He ascended”— what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)

What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?

He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

And they said,“ Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says,‘ I have come down from heaven’?”

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

It is not in heaven, that you should say,‘ Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.

I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”His disciples said to Him,“ See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech!Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God.”

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Jesus said to them,“ If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
