Then he said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here, and examine my hands. Extend your hand and put it into my side. Do not continue in your unbelief, but believe.”

耶穌說：「噯！這又不信又悖謬的世代啊，我在你們這裏要到幾時呢？我忍耐你們要到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裏來吧！」 (cunpt)

並且我主的恩是格外豐盛，使我在基督耶穌裏有信心和愛心。「基督耶穌降世，為要拯救罪人。」這話是可信的，是十分可佩服的。在罪人中我是個罪魁。然而，我蒙了憐憫，是因耶穌基督要在我這罪魁身上顯明他一切的忍耐，給後來信他得永生的人作榜樣。 (cunpt)

律法本是外添的，叫過犯顯多；只是罪在哪裏顯多，恩典就更顯多了。 (cunpt)

但他有憐憫，赦免他們的罪孽，不滅絕他們，而且屢次消他的怒氣，不發盡他的忿怒。 (cunpt)
