其他门徒告诉他：“我们看见主了！”可是多马说：“除非我亲眼看见祂手上的钉痕，用手摸到祂手上的钉痕和祂的肋旁，否则我决不信。”

他徒爰告之曰：『吾儕已曾見主。』而多默應曰：『吾非目睹其手中釘蹟、非吾親探其釘穴、非吾親手撫其肋孔、吾決不輕信。』

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

So they told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ First I must see the nail marks in his hands. I must put my finger where the nails were. I must put my hand into his side. Only then will I believe.”

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

They told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”

So the other disciples were telling him,“ We’ve seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in his hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

So the other disciples were saying to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.

So the other disciples kept telling him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in His hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe!”

The other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ Unless I see the wounds from the nails in his hands, and put my finger into the wounds from the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe it!”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it. (niv)

So they asked him,“ What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? (niv)

The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him,“ We have found the Messiah”( that is, the Christ). (niv)

They forgot the God who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt,miracles in the land of Ham and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.So he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him to keep his wrath from destroying them.Then they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his promise. (niv)

In spite of all this, they kept on sinning; in spite of his wonders, they did not believe. (niv)

And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed?So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. And,“ But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. (niv)

“ Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness,where your ancestors tested me; they tried me, though they had seen what I did.For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said,‘ They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.’ (niv)

He said to them,“ How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! (niv)

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. (niv)

Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say,“ It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him( for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water. (niv)

They forgot what he had done, the wonders he had shown them.He did miracles in the sight of their ancestors in the land of Egypt, in the region of Zoan.He divided the sea and led them through; he made the water stand up like a wall.He guided them with the cloud by day and with light from the fire all night.He split the rocks in the wilderness and gave them water as abundant as the seas;he brought streams out of a rocky crag and made water flow down like rivers.But they continued to sin against him, rebelling in the wilderness against the Most High.They willfully put God to the test by demanding the food they craved.They spoke against God; they said,“ Can God really spread a table in the wilderness?True, he struck the rock, and water gushed out, streams flowed abundantly, but can he also give us bread? Can he supply meat for his people?”When the Lord heard them, he was furious; his fire broke out against Jacob, and his wrath rose against Israel,for they did not believe in God or trust in his deliverance. At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.He asked her,“ Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” Thinking he was the gardener, she said,“ Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”Jesus said to her,“ Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic,“ Rabboni!”( which means“ Teacher”).Jesus said,“ Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news:“ I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. (niv)

and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born. but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen— by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. (niv)

The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead— whom you killed by hanging him on a cross.God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.” (niv)

The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.He replied,“ When evening comes, you say,‘ It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’and in the morning,‘ Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away. and saying,“ It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.”Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them,“ Peace be with you.”They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost.He said to them,“ Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet.And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them,“ Do you have anything here to eat?” (niv)

“ He saved others,” they said,“ but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. (niv)

Even if I summoned him and he responded, I do not believe he would give me a hearing. (niv)
