那些婦女就是抹大拉的馬利亞，約亞拿和雅各的母親馬利亞，以及其他在一起的婦女，她們把這些事向使徒說了。

耶穌對她們說：“不要怕，去告訴我的弟兄，叫他們到加利利去，他們在那裡必看見我。”

她就去告訴那些向來和耶穌在一起的人，那時他們正在悲哀哭泣。他們聽見耶穌活了，又被馬利亞看見了，卻不相信。這事以後，門徒中有兩個人往鄉下去，正走路的時候，耶穌用另外的形象，向他們顯現，他們就去告訴其他的人，那些人也不相信。

而且我們中間有幾個婦女使我們驚奇，她們清早到墳墓那裡去，卻找不到他的身體。她們回來說看見天使顯現，天使說他活了。

禮拜日清早，天還沒有亮的時候，抹大拉的馬利亞來到墓旁，看見石頭已經從墳墓移開了。
