They said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” Mary replied,“ They have taken my Lord away, and I do not know where they have put him!”

天使對她說：『婦人，你為甚麼哭？』她對天使說：『有人把我的主取了去，我不知道他們把他安放在哪裏。』

二天神謂瑪麗曰：『女子、何泣為？』對曰：『以人移去吾主、不知置諸何處。』

They asked her,“ Woman, why are you crying?”“ They have taken my Lord away,” she said,“ and I don’t know where they have put him.”

They said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them,“ They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.”

“ Dear woman, why are you crying?” the angels asked her.“ Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied,“ and I don’t know where they have put him.”

They said to her,“ Woman, why are you crying?”“ Because they’ve taken away my Lord,” she told them,“ and I don’t know where they’ve put him.”

And they* said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” She* said to them,“ Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they put Him.”

Then they said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them,“ Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”

And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

They said to her,“ Woman, why are you crying?”“ Because they’ve taken away my Lord,” she told them,“ and I don’t know where they’ve put Him.”

They asked her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them,“ Because they have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they have laid him.”

Jesus said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” Because she thought he was the gardener, she said to him,“ Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him.”

So she went running to Simon Peter and the other disciple whom Jesus loved and told them,“ They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”

Jesus replied,“ Woman, why are you saying this to me? My time has not yet come.”

Then he said to them,“ What are these matters you are discussing so intently as you walk along?” And they stood still, looking sad.

Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be tied up, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Finally her husband Elkanah said to her,“ Hannah, why do you weep and not eat? Why are you so sad? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”

So when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother,“ Woman, look, here is your son!”

“ Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.You heard me say to you,‘ I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am.

I tell you the solemn truth, you will weep and wail, but the world will rejoice; you will be sad, but your sadness will turn into joy.When a woman gives birth, she has distress because her time has come, but when her child is born, she no longer remembers the suffering because of her joy that a human being has been born into the world.So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

Reveal your light and your faithfulness! They will lead me, they will escort me back to your holy hill, and to the place where you live.Then I will go to the altar of God, to the God who gives me ecstatic joy, so that I express my thanks to you, O God, my God, with a harp.Why are you depressed, O my soul? Why are you upset? Wait for God! For I will again give thanks to my God for his saving intervention.

Instead your hearts are filled with sadness because I have said these things to you.But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, but if I go, I will send him to you.

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

The LORD says to her,“ Stop crying! Do not shed any more tears! For your heartfelt repentance will be rewarded. Your children will return from the land of the enemy. I, the LORD, affirm it!
