忽然，地震得很厲害；主的使者從天上下來，把石頭輥開，坐在上面。他的樣子好像閃電，衣服潔白如雪。看守的人因為害怕他，就渾身戰抖，好像死了一樣。那使者對婦女們說：“你們不要怕，我知道你們在找被釘十字架的耶穌。

我對他說：“我主啊，你是知道的。”他告訴我：“這些人是從大患難中出來的。他們用羊羔的血，把自己的衣袍洗潔白了。

耶穌在他們面前改變了形象，臉好像太陽一樣照耀，衣服潔白像光。
