約瑟買了細麻布，把耶穌取下，用細麻布裹好，安放在一個從磐石鑿出來的墳墓裡，又輥過一塊石頭來擋住墓門。

禮拜日大清早的時候，婦女們帶著預備好的香料，來到墳墓那裡，發現石頭已經從墳墓輥開了，就進去，卻找不著主耶穌的身體。她們正為此事猜疑的時候，忽然有兩個人，穿著閃爍耀目的衣服，站在她們旁邊。她們害怕，把臉伏在地上。那兩個人對她們說：“為甚麼在死人中找活人呢？他不在這裡，已經復活了。你們應當記得他還在加利利的時候，怎樣告訴你們，說：‘人子必須被交在罪人手裡，釘在十字架上，第三日復活。’”她們就想起他的話，於是從墳地回去，把這一切事告訴十一個使徒和其餘的人。那些婦女就是抹大拉的馬利亞，約亞拿和雅各的母親馬利亞，以及其他在一起的婦女，她們把這些事向使徒說了。

禮拜日的清早，耶穌復活了，先向抹大拉的馬利亞顯現，耶穌曾經從她身上趕出七個鬼。

過了八天，門徒又在屋子裡，多馬也和他們在一起。門戶都關上了。耶穌來了，站在他們中間，說：“願你們平安。”

站在耶穌十字架旁邊的，有他母親和他母親的姊妹，還有高羅巴的妻子馬利亞，和抹大拉的馬利亞。

抹大拉的馬利亞就去，向門徒報信說：“我已經看見主了！”她又把主對她所說的話告訴他們。禮拜日黃昏的時候，門徒聚在一起，因為怕猶太人，就把門戶都關上。耶穌來了，站在他們中間，說：“願你們平安。”

所以請你下令把墳墓嚴密看守，直到第三天，免得他的門徒來把他偷去，然後對民眾說：‘他從死人中復活了。’這樣，日後的騙局比起初的就更大了。”彼拉多對他們說：“你們帶著衛兵，盡你們所能的去嚴密看守吧。”他們就去把墓前的石封好，又派衛兵把守，嚴密地守住墳墓。過了安息日，在禮拜日天亮的時候，抹大拉的馬利亞和另一個馬利亞來看墳墓。忽然，地震得很厲害；主的使者從天上下來，把石頭輥開，坐在上面。他的樣子好像閃電，衣服潔白如雪。看守的人因為害怕他，就渾身戰抖，好像死了一樣。那使者對婦女們說：“你們不要怕，我知道你們在找被釘十字架的耶穌。他不在這裡，已經照他所說的復活了。你們來看安放他的地方吧。快去告訴他的門徒：‘他已經從死人中復活了。他會比你們先到加利利去，你們在那裡必看見他。’現在我已經告訴你們了。”她們立刻離開墳墓，又害怕，又十分歡喜，跑去告訴耶穌的門徒。忽然，耶穌向她們迎面而來，說：“你們好。”她們就上前，抱住他的腳拜他。耶穌對她們說：“不要怕，去告訴我的弟兄，叫他們到加利利去，他們在那裡必看見我。”

過了安息日，抹大拉的馬利亞、雅各的母親馬利亞和撒羅米，買了香膏，要去膏耶穌。禮拜日的大清早，出太陽的時候，她們就來到墳墓那裡，彼此說：“誰可以給我們輥開墓門的石頭呢？”原來那塊石頭非常大，她們抬頭一看，卻見石頭已經輥開了。她們進了墳墓，看見一位身穿白袍的青年，坐在右邊，就非常驚恐。

有一個主日，我在靈裡，聽見在我後邊有一個大聲音，好像號筒的響聲，

每逢七日的第一日，你們各人要按著自己的收入抽一些出來留著，免得我來的時候才現湊。

禮拜日，我們聚會擘餅的時候，保羅對大家講道，他因第二天就要起行，就一直講到半夜。
