Jesus answered him,“ Because I said to you,‘ I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.”

Though he had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in him,

Jesus answered them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.

When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said,“ This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!”

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,

Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.

And a large crowd was following him, because they saw the signs that he was doing on the sick.

For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written,“ Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for“ The righteous shall live by faith.”But the law is not of faith, rather“ The one who does them shall live by them.”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us— for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—

and for your sake I am glad that I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.”

If they will not believe even these two signs or listen to your voice, you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground, and the water that you shall take from the Nile will become blood on the dry ground.”

In the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants he lifted up the staff and struck the water in the Nile, and all the water in the Nile turned into blood.And the fish in the Nile died, and the Nile stank, so that the Egyptians could not drink water from the Nile. There was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!

If you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.

Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen!

And you said,‘ Behold, the Lord our God has shown us his glory and greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. This day we have seen God speak with man, and man still live.

that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

How can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.
