Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”

Then Pilate went back inside the palace. He ordered Jesus to be brought to him. Pilate asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”

So Pilate entered his headquarters again and called Jesus and said to him,“ Are you the King of the Jews?”

Then Pilate went back into his headquarters and called for Jesus to be brought to him.“ Are you the king of the Jews?” he asked him.

Then Pilate went back into the headquarters, summoned Jesus, and said to him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”

Therefore Pilate entered the Praetorium again, and summoned Jesus and said to Him,“ You are the King of the Jews?”

Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him,“ Are You the King of the Jews?”

Pilate therefore entered again into the Prætorium, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

Then Pilate went back into the headquarters, summoned Jesus, and said to Him,“ Are You the King of the Jews?”

Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

So Pilate went back into the governor’s residence, summoned Jesus, and asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”

Pilate therefore entered again into the Praetorium, called Jesus, and said to him,“ Are you the King of the Jews?”

又進了總督府，對耶穌說：「你是哪裏來的？」耶穌卻不回答。

於是彼拉多對他說：「那麼，你是王了？」耶穌回答：「是你說我是王。我為此而生，也為此來到世界，為了給真理作見證。凡屬真理的人都聽我的話。」

因有一嬰孩為我們而生；有一子賜給我們。政權必擔在他的肩頭上；他名稱為「奇妙策士、全能的神、永在的父、和平的君」。他的政權與平安必加增無窮。他必在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義使國堅定穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。

又走到他面前，說：「萬歲，猶太人的王！」他們就打他耳光。

就拿着棕樹枝出去迎接他，喊着：「和散那，以色列的王！奉主名來的是應當稱頌的！」

錫安哪，應當大大喜樂；耶路撒冷啊，應當歡呼。看哪，你的王來到你這裏！他是公義的，並且施行拯救，謙和地騎着驢，騎着小驢，驢的駒子。

他們把耶穌從該亞法那裏押解到總督府。那時是清早。他們自己卻不進總督府，恐怕染了污穢，不能吃逾越節的宴席。於是彼拉多出來，到他們那裏，說：「你們告這人是為甚麼事呢？」

大衛並沒有升到天上，但他自己說：『主對我主說：你坐在我的右邊，等我使你的仇敵作你的腳凳。』故此，以色列全家當確實知道，你們釘在十字架上的這位耶穌，神已經立他為主，為基督了。」

彼拉多問耶穌：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌回答：「是你說的。」彼拉多對祭司長們和眾人說：「我查不出這人有甚麼罪來。」

耶穌站在總督面前，總督問他：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌說：「是你說的。」

拿但業回答他：「拉比！你是神的兒子，你是以色列的王。」

彼拉多問他：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌回答：「是你說的。」

「我已經在錫安－我的聖山膏立了我的君王。」我要傳耶和華的聖旨，他對我說：「你是我的兒子，我今日生了你。你求我，我就將列國賜你為基業，將地極賜你為田產。你必用鐵杖打破他們，把他們如同陶匠的瓦器摔碎。」現在，君王啊，應當謹慎！世上的審判官哪，要聽勸戒！當存敬畏的心事奉耶和華，又當戰兢而快樂。當親吻兒子，免得他發怒，你們就在半途中滅亡，因為他的怒氣快要發作。凡投靠他的，都是有福的。

從此，彼拉多想要釋放耶穌，無奈猶太人喊着說：「你若釋放這個人，你就不是凱撒的忠臣。凡自立為王的就是背叛凱撒。」

我在那賜生命給萬物的神面前，並在向本丟‧彼拉多作過那美好見證的基督耶穌面前囑咐你：

「錫安的兒女啊，不要懼怕！看哪，你的王來了；他騎在驢駒上。」

耶和華已經免去對你的審判，趕出你的仇敵。以色列的王－耶和華在你中間；你必不再懼怕災禍。

「看哪，日子將到，我要為大衛興起公義的苗裔；他必掌王權，行事有智慧，在地上施行公平和公義。這是耶和華說的。

說：「奉主名來的王是應當稱頌的！在天上有和平；在至高之處有榮光。」人羣中有幾個法利賽人對耶穌說：「老師，責備你的門徒吧！」耶穌回答：「我告訴你們，若是這些人閉口不說，石頭也要呼叫起來。」

彼拉多又寫了一個牌子，釘在十字架上，寫的是：「猶太人的王，拿撒勒人耶穌。」有許多猶太人念這牌子，因為耶穌被釘十字架的地方靠近城，而且牌子是用希伯來、羅馬、希臘三種文字寫的。猶太人的祭司長就對彼拉多說：「不要寫『猶太人的王』，要寫『那人說：我是猶太人的王』。」彼拉多回答：「我寫了就寫了。」
