耶穌對曰：『予向公開言論、施訓會堂聖殿中、此皆猶太人會集之所、未嘗言之於隱、

耶穌曰、我明言於世、恆訓於會堂、及殿間、即猶太人咸集之處、隱中則無所言、

耶穌曰、我於世既明示之矣、我常誨於會堂殿間、猶太人恆集之處、我無私語、

耶穌答曰、我顯然講道於世、常教誨在會堂、及聖殿、猶太人恆集之所、我並無言於隱者、

今乃公然施訓、而莫之誰何！豈當局已確認其為基督乎？

耶穌徧遊加利利、施訓會堂中、講天國福音、治民間諸疾；

顧語眾曰：『爾手刃持梃、捕予一如捕盜。予曩者日坐殿中施訓於爾、何不執之？

人若告爾、「基督在曠野、」勿出；「基督在密室、」勿信。

予尚有多端、訓責爾曹、惟遣予者真實無妄、凡予所傳於世者、莫非所聞於彼也。』

耶穌晝在殿中施訓、夜則出宿忠果山中、眾民夙興、登殿聆訓。

拂曉、復入聖殿、眾就之、乃坐而訓焉。

耶穌行至殿中、至所羅門廊下、眾圍繞之、問曰：『汝使我心懸揣、將至何時？果為基督、請明以相告。』耶穌曰：『予昔已告爾、而爾不之信也。予因吾父之名、所行諸事、已足為予證明、而爾猶狐疑不信者、以爾非吾羊故耳。吾羊樂聞吾音、予識之、而彼亦惟予是從；予賜以永生、終無淪亡之虞、亦無能奪自予手。吾父所授於予者、有貴於宇宙萬有者焉。吾父手中所有、孰得從而奪之；予與父、一而已矣！』猶太人復拾石、欲投之、耶穌詰之曰：『予所示爾種種善工、莫非淵源自父、果胡為而欲以石相擊耶？』猶太人應曰：『吾人擊汝、非為汝所行之善工、祇因僭妄耳。汝亦人也、乃竟自充天主！』耶穌答曰：『爾之律法不云乎：「吾稱爾曹為神。」夫承天主聖言者、且得稱為神、而經文固不可廢也；況在父之所特聖、而遣入人世者、自稱為天主之子、而爾曹遂謂其僭妄乎？且予若不行天主之事蹟、爾曹弗信、猶可說也。今予既行之、爾曹縱不置信於予、亦應置信於事蹟。事蹟者、所以使爾曹了悟父之在予、予之在父云耳。』至是若輩又欲執之；耶穌脫手避去、

耶穌在殿中揚聲而訓之曰：『爾曹知予、亦知予所自來、固矣、顧予非自來、實有遣之者、此則非爾曹之所知也。

出我於獅口兮。拯我於兕角。

耶穌入聖殿、盡逐賈者、曰：『經云：吾宅乃祈禱之所、爾曹竟以之為盜窟矣。』耶穌日訓殿中、而司祭長經生及諸紳正謀所以置諸死地、苦無良策；蓋民皆樂聆其訓、為之神往。

一日、耶穌在殿施訓於民、宣講福音、司祭長、經生、長老、進而謂之曰：『請示吾儕、爾憑何權行此一切？且孰授爾以斯權耶？』耶穌應曰：『予亦欲質爾一詞、請爾答覆、如望之洗禮、自天乎？抑自人乎？』若輩乃互議曰：『如謂自天、彼將曰胡不信之；若云自人、又恐犯眾怒、而遭石擊、蓋眾皆確信如望之為先知也。』遂答以不知其所自。耶穌曰：『然則予亦不願告爾、憑何權以行此矣。』

耶穌周遊城村、施訓會堂中、宣天國福音；諸般疾病、着手成春。

節期方半、耶穌忽入殿施訓；

以王乃識者、故敢暢言不諱；予深信此事悉在吾王洞鑒之中也。且其事之成、非在窮鄉僻壤。

凡有為者、不宜幽居潛處、必欲有以自彰。爾既有此異能、盍亦自顯於世乎？』

施訓會堂中、眾人莫不頌揚。

藏我腔子裏。

大司祭怒而裂衣曰：『彼言僭妄、更需何證。君等盡聞；

耶穌入殿、方施訓、司祭長與民間耆老前來問曰：『汝憑何權而行此諸事、且孰授汝以此權耶？』耶穌答曰：『予亦問爾一言、請爾先答、予當告以何權行此。夫如望之洗、何自而來、自天乎、自人乎？』若輩私議曰：『吾儕若曰自天、彼將問我何以不信；若曰自人、民又可畏、蓋眾皆以如望為先知也。』因對曰：『不知。』耶穌乃謂之曰：『然則吾亦不願告爾憑何權以行此矣。』
