我決不與奸詐的人同坐，也不和虛偽的人來往。我恨惡惡人的聚會，也不與作惡的同坐。耶和華啊！我要洗手表明無辜，才來繞著你的祭壇行走；好使我發出稱謝的聲音，述說你一切奇妙的作為。耶和華啊！我喜愛你住宿的殿，你榮耀居住的地方。求你不要把我的性命和罪人一同除掉，也不要把我的生命和流人血的人一起消滅。他們的手中有惡計，他們的右手充滿賄賂。

我的靈啊，不可加入他們的陰謀；我的心啊，不可參與他們的集會，因為他們在怒中殺人，任意砍斷牛的腿筋。

有福的人：不從惡人的計謀，不站罪人的道路，不坐好譏笑的人的座位。

不要參與暗昧無益的事，倒要把它揭露出來，因為他們暗中所作的事，連提起來也是羞恥的。

基督和彼列（“彼列”是撒但的別名）怎能和諧呢？信的和不信的有甚麼聯繫呢？神的殿和偶像怎能協調呢？我們就是永生神的殿，正如神說：“我要住在他們中間，在他們中間來往；我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。”所以，“主說：你們要從他們中間出來，和他們分開，不可觸摸不潔淨的東西，我就收納你們。”

你們不要自欺，“濫交朋友是會敗壞品德的。”

彼得和約翰被釋放了之後，回到自己的人那裡去，把祭司長和長老說的一切，都告訴他們。

他們上了岸，就看見那裡有一堆炭火，上面有魚有餅。
