Jesus therefore said to Peter,“ Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?”

耶稣就对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧，我父所给我的那杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

于是耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父给我的杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

于是耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父给我的杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父赐给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

耶稣对彼得说：“把刀收入鞘里去！父给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

耶稣就对彼得说：“把刀收回鞘里！父所赐给我的杯，我难道能不喝吗？”

耶穌就對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧，我父所給我的那杯，我豈可不喝呢？」

於是耶穌對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧！我父給我的杯，我豈可不喝呢？」

於是耶穌對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧！我父給我的杯，我豈可不喝呢？」

耶穌對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧！我父賜給我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？」

耶穌對彼得說：“把刀收入鞘裡去！父給我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

於是耶穌對彼得說：『收刀入鞘！父給了我的杯、難道我不喝麼？』

耶穌就對彼得說：「把刀收回鞘裡！父所賜給我的杯，我難道能不喝嗎？」

耶穌語彼得曰、韜爾刀、父予我之杯、我不飲乎、○

耶穌謂彼得曰、鞱爾刀、父所予我之杯、豈不飲乎、

耶穌謂彼得曰、收爾刀入鞘、父所予我之杯、我豈不飲乎、○

耶穌謂伯鐸祿曰『收刃入鞘、父所賜我之爵、可不飲乎？』

Jesus commanded Peter,“ Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

Jesus commanded Peter,“ Put your sword away! Shouldn’t I drink the cup of suffering the Father has given me?”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?”

But Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword back into its sheath. Shall I not drink from the cup of suffering the Father has given me?”

At that, Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword away! Am I not to drink the cup the Father has given me?”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put the sword into the sheath; the cup which the Father has given Me, am I not to drink it?”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?”

Jesus therefore said unto Peter, Put up the sword into the sheath: the cup which the Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

At that, Jesus said to Peter,“ Sheathe your sword! Am I not to drink the cup the Father has given Me?”

Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

But Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword back into its sheath! Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given me?”

But Jesus answered,“ You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to him,“ We are able.”

He went forward a little, fell on his face, and prayed, saying,“ My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire.”

saying,“ Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”

looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

“ Now my soul is troubled. What shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this time?’ But I came to this time for this cause.Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came out of the sky, saying,“ I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

Again, a second time he went away, and prayed, saying,“ My Father, if this cup can’t pass away from me unless I drink it, your desire be done.”

But Jesus said to them,“ You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”They said to him,“ We are able.” Jesus said to them,“ You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;

He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.He said,“ Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.”

If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and remain in his love.

Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.

for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,

For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things.

Jesus answered,“ My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here.”

Jesus said to her,“ Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore I will give her cup into your hand.’

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace,above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

For in Yahweh’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.

For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry,“ Abba! Father!”The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;and if children, then heirs: heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.

You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children,“ My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children.Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?For they indeed, for a few days, punished us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.

in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

So they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said,“ Father, I thank you that you listened to me.I know that you always listen to me, but because of the multitude standing around I said this, that they may believe that you sent me.”
