“ I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have obeyed your word.

凡父所拔於世而賜於予之人、予已以父名示之。若輩本屬於父、而父以之賜予、其人皆服膺父之慈訓、

“ I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.

“ I have shown you to the disciples you gave me out of the world. They were yours. You gave them to me. And they have obeyed your word.

“ I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

“ I have revealed you to the ones you gave me from this world. They were always yours. You gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

“ I have revealed your name to the people you gave me from the world. They were yours, you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

“ I have revealed Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have followed Your word.

“ I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.

I have revealed Your name to the men You gave Me from the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us insight to know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life.

The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him.”“ Lord,” Judas( not Judas Iscariot) said,“ what has happened that you are going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus replied,“ If anyone loves me, he will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him.The person who does not love me does not obey my words. And the word you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

just as you have given him authority over all humanity, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.

Moses said to God,“ If I go to the Israelites and tell them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘ What is his name?’– what should I say to them?”God said to Moses,“ I AM that I AM.” And he said,“ You must say this to the Israelites,‘ I AM has sent me to you.’”God also said to Moses,“ You must say this to the Israelites,‘ The LORD– the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob– has sent me to you. This is my name forever, and this is my memorial from generation to generation.’

The LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the LORD by name.The LORD passed by before him and proclaimed:“ The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, and abounding in loyal love and faithfulness,keeping loyal love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. But he by no means leaves the guilty unpunished, responding to the transgression of fathers by dealing with children and children’s children, to the third and fourth generation.”

“ Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away.

I will declare your name to my countrymen! In the middle of the assembly I will praise you!

‘ I know your deeds.( Look! I have put in front of you an open door that no one can shut.) I know that you have little strength, but you have obeyed my word and have not denied my name.

If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you do not belong to the world, but I chose you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you.

My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from my hand.My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from my Father’s hand.

For he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished in his sight in love.He did this by predestining us to adoption as his sons through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure of his will–to the praise of the glory of his grace that he has freely bestowed on us in his dearly loved Son.In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his gracethat he lavished on us in all wisdom and insight.He did this when he revealed to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ,toward the administration of the fullness of the times, to head up all things in Christ– the things in heaven and the things on earth.In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will

But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.He called you to this salvation through our gospel, so that you may possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

‘ I know where you live– where Satan’s throne is. Yet you continue to cling to my name and you have not denied your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was killed in your city where Satan lives.

For wisdom will enter your heart, and moral knowledge will be attractive to you.

Acquire truth and do not sell it– wisdom, and discipline, and understanding.

You are clean already because of the word that I have spoken to you.

Now this is the will of the one who sent me– that I should not lose one person of every one he has given me, but raise them all up at the last day.

In my heart I store up your words, so I might not sin against you.

No one has ever seen God. The only one, himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father, has made God known.

saying,“ I will proclaim your name to my brothers; in the midst of the assembly I will praise you.”

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you.

Hold to the standard of sound words that you heard from me and do so with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew! Do you not know what the scripture says about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel?

But for this purpose I have caused you to stand: to show you my strength, and so that my name may be declared in all the earth.

On that same occasion Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.All things have been given to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.”

They do not belong to the world just as I do not belong to the world.

For God, who said“ Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.

I am praying on behalf of them. I am not praying on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given me, because they belong to you.Everything I have belongs to you, and everything you have belongs to me, and I have been glorified by them.I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.

My child, if you receive my words, and store up my commands within you,by making your ear attentive to wisdom, and by turning your heart to understanding,indeed, if you call out for discernment– raise your voice for understanding–if you seek it like silver, and search for it like hidden treasure,then you will understand how to fear the LORD, and you will discover knowledge about God.

Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven,“ I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children.Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.

He said this to fulfill the word he had spoken,“ I have not lost a single one of those whom you gave me.”

But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. We are of his house, if in fact we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope we take pride in.

Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him,“ If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciplesand you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.

I have given them your word, and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.

O God, you have taught me since I was young, and I am still declaring your amazing deeds.Even when I am old and gray, O God, do not abandon me, until I tell the next generation about your strength, and those coming after me about your power.Your justice, O God, extends to the skies above; you have done great things. O God, who can compare to you?

My child, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,for they will provide a long and full life, and they will add well-being to you.Do not let truth and mercy leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.Then you will find favor and good understanding, in the sight of God and people.

When the Gentiles heard this, they began to rejoice and praise the word of the Lord, and all who had been appointed for eternal life believed.
