猶大出去以後，耶穌就說：「現在人子得了榮耀，神藉著人子也得了榮耀。神既然藉著人子得了榮耀，神也將藉著自己榮耀人子，而且立刻就要榮耀他。

我完成了你交給我該做的事，因而在地上榮耀了你。父啊，現在願你用那榮耀，與你自己一起榮耀我，那榮耀是世界存在以前我與你一起就有的。

因此神使他升為至高，賜給他那超越萬名之上的名，好使天上、地上和地底下的一切，因耶穌的名都屈膝，萬口為了父神的榮耀要承認耶穌基督是主。

耶穌回答他們，說：「人子得榮耀的時候到了！

亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的神，也就是我們祖先的神，已經榮耀了他的僕人耶穌。你們竟然把他交出去，並且在彼拉多判定要釋放他的時候，在彼拉多面前拒絕了他。

耶穌這話是指著信他的人所要領受的聖靈而說的。當時，聖靈還沒有臨到，因為耶穌還沒有得榮耀。

看哪，時候就要到了，而且已經到了！你們要被驅散，每個人到自己的地方，留下我一個人。其實我不是獨自一人，因為父與我同在。

於是他們把石頭挪開。耶穌向上舉目，說：「父啊，我感謝你，因為你已經垂聽了我。

耶穌聽了就說：「這病不至於死，而是為了神的榮耀，好使神的兒子由此得榮耀。」

藉著基督，你們信靠那使他從死人中復活、又賜他榮耀的神，以致你們的信仰和盼望也都在於神。

「現在我的靈魂煩擾。我該說什麼呢？說『父啊，救我脫離這時刻』嗎？但我正是為了這時刻而來的。父啊，願你榮耀你的名！」這時候，有聲音從天上傳來：「我已經榮耀了我的名，還要再榮耀！」

耶穌第三次回來，對他們說：「你們還在睡覺、休息嗎？已經夠了，時候到了！看哪，人子被交在罪人的手裡了。

我天天在聖殿裡與你們在一起的時候，你們不向我下手。不過現在是你們的時候了，是黑暗掌權的時候了！」

這些話是耶穌在聖殿的奉獻箱附近教導人的時候說的。可是沒有人抓他，因為他的時候還沒有到。

逾越節前，耶穌知道他離開這世界回到父那裡去的時候到了。他一直愛世界上那些屬自己的人，並且愛他們到底。

因此他們想要抓耶穌，只是沒有人下手，因為他的時候還沒有到。

我要向群山舉目，我的幫助從哪裡來？我的幫助從造天地的耶和華而來！

我像燕子呢喃，像白鶴啼叫，又像鴿子哀鳴。我的眼睛因仰望高處而衰弱；主啊！我受欺壓，求你作我的保障。

在天上坐著為王的那一位啊，我要向你舉目！

「那稅吏卻遠遠地站著，甚至不敢舉目望天，可是捶著胸說：『神哪，你寬恕我這個罪人吧！』
