弟兄们，以往我对你们说话，不能把你们当做属灵的，只能当做属肉体的，当做在基督里的小孩子。我喂给你们吃的是奶，不是饭，原来你们那时还不能吃饭——其实现在也还是不能，

耶稣照着他们所能听的，用许多这样的比喻，向他们讲道。

耶稣受难之后，用很多确据向这些人显明自己是活着的。他在四十天的时间里向他们显现，并且讲说有关神国的事。

我不再对你们多说了。要知道，世界的那掌权者就要来了，而他对我毫无作用。

我不再称你们为奴仆，因为奴仆不知道主人所做的事。我却称你们为朋友，因为我把从我父所听到的一切，都让你们明白了。

关于这事，我们还有很多话要说，可是很难解释，因为你们听不进去了。其实从时间来说，你们早就应该做教师了，却还需要有人把神话语的基本原则重新教导你们；你们成了那需要吃奶、而不能吃干粮的人。要知道，凡是吃奶的人，都对称义的道理不熟悉，因为他是个小孩子；不过干粮是给成熟之人吃的——他们经过实践，识别能力得到操练，以致能分辨善恶。
