Peter said to him,“ Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”

彼得说：“主啊，我为什么现在不能跟你去？我愿意为你舍命！”

彼得对他说：“主啊，为什么我现在不能跟你去？我愿意为你舍命。”

彼得对他说：“主啊，为什么我现在不能跟你去？我愿意为你舍命。”

彼得说：“主啊！为什么我现在不能跟你去呢？就是为你死，我也愿意！”

彼得说：“主啊，为什么我现在不能跟着你去？为了你，我舍命也愿意！”

彼得说：“主啊，为什么我现在就不能跟随你呢？为了你，我愿意舍弃自己的生命！”

彼得說：「主啊，我為甚麼現在不能跟你去？我願意為你捨命！」

彼得對他說：「主啊，為甚麼我現在不能跟你去？我願意為你捨命。」

彼得對他說：「主啊，為甚麼我現在不能跟你去？我願意為你捨命。」

彼得說：「主啊！為什麼我現在不能跟你去呢？就是為你死，我也願意！」

彼得說：“主啊，為甚麼我現在不能跟著你去？為了你，我捨命也願意！”

彼得對耶穌說：『主啊，為甚麼我現在不能跟着你啊？連我的性命、我都要替你放棄呢！』

彼得說：「主啊，為什麼我現在就不能跟隨你呢？為了你，我願意捨棄自己的生命！」

彼得曰、主、今何不能從爾乎、我欲為爾捐生、

彼得曰、主、胡為今不能從爾乎、我願為爾捐命、

彼得曰、主、胡為今不能從爾、我願為爾舍命、

伯鐸祿曰：『今亦曷為弗克相隨乎？雖為主致命、亦所甘心！』

Peter asked,“ Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”

“ Lord,” Peter asked,“ why can’t I follow you now? I will give my life for you.”

Peter said to him,“ Lord, why can I not follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”

“ But why can’t I come now, Lord?” he asked.“ I’m ready to die for you.”

“ Lord,” Peter asked,“ why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”

Peter* said to Him,“ Lord, why can I not follow You right now? I will lay down my life for You.”

Peter said to Him,“ Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake.”

Peter saith unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee even now? I will lay down my life for thee.

“ Lord,” Peter asked,“ why can’t I follow You now? I will lay down my life for You!”

Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

Peter said to him,“ Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you!”

Jesus said to them,“ All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written,‘ I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’However, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.”But Peter said to him,“ Although all will be offended, yet I will not.”Jesus said to him,“ Most certainly I tell you, that you today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”But he spoke all the more,“ If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.

Then Jesus said to them,“ All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written,‘ I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’But after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.”But Peter answered him,“ Even if all will be made to stumble because of you, I will never be made to stumble.”Jesus said to him,“ Most certainly I tell you that tonight, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.”Peter said to him,“ Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you.” All of the disciples also said likewise.

The Lord said,“ Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have all of you, that he might sift you as wheat,but I prayed for you, that your faith wouldn’t fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers.”He said to him,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”He said,“ I tell you, Peter, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times.”

Then Paul answered,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

So when they had eaten their breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him,“ Feed my lambs.”

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.
