彼得說：「亞拿尼亞！為甚麼撒但充滿了你的心，叫你欺哄聖靈，把田地的價銀私自留下幾分呢？

因為神使諸王同心合意，遵行他的旨意，把自己的國給那獸，直等到神的話都應驗了。

人被試探，不可說：「我是被神試探」；因為神不能被惡試探，他也不試探人。但各人被試探，乃是被自己的私慾牽引誘惑的。私慾既懷了胎，就生出罪來；罪既長成，就生出死來。我親愛的弟兄們，不要看錯了。各樣美善的恩賜和各樣全備的賞賜都是從上頭來的，從眾光之父那裏降下來的；在他並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影兒。

主又說：「西門！西門！撒但想要得着你們，好篩你們像篩麥子一樣；

我夜間起來，有幾個人也一同起來；但神使我心裏要為耶路撒冷做甚麼事，我並沒有告訴人。除了我騎的牲口以外，也沒有別的牲口在我那裏。

這時，撒但入了那稱為加略人猶大的心；他本是十二門徒裏的一個。

耶穌說：「我不是揀選了你們十二個門徒嗎？但你們中間有一個是魔鬼。」耶穌這話是指着加略人西門的兒子猶大說的；他本是十二個門徒裏的一個，後來要賣耶穌的。

以斯拉說：「耶和華－我們列祖的神是應當稱頌的！因他使王起這心意修飾耶路撒冷耶和華的殿，

耶穌回答說：「我蘸一點餅給誰，就是誰。」耶穌就蘸了一點餅，遞給加略人西門的兒子猶大。他吃了以後，撒但就入了他的心。耶穌便對他說：「你所做的，快做吧！」

多謝神，感動提多的心，叫他待你們殷勤，像我一樣。

就離席站起來，脫了衣服，拿一條手巾束腰，

我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾，隨着肉體和心中所喜好的去行，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。
