Jesus said to him,“ The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you.”

耶穌曰、既浴者、祇須濯足、則全潔矣、爾曹乃潔、但不盡然耳、

耶穌曰、凡浴後祗須濯足、而身皆潔、爾曹乃潔、然猶有未潔者、

耶穌曰、凡沐浴者、祗須濯足、而全身潔矣、爾曹亦潔、然非皆潔、

耶穌曰：『已浴者第須濯足、而舉身皆潔。爾曹潔矣、顧亦有例外。』

Jesus answered,“ Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”

Jesus replied,“ A person who has bathed all over does not need to wash, except for the feet, to be entirely clean. And you disciples are clean, but not all of you.”

“ One who has bathed,” Jesus told him,“ doesn’t need to wash anything except his feet, but he is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”

Jesus* said to him,“ He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet; otherwise he is completely clean. And you are clean— but not all of you.”

Jesus saith to him, He that is bathed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

And the clean person shall sprinkle it on the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day. Thus on the seventh day he shall cleanse him, and he shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and at evening he shall be clean.“ If the man who is unclean does not cleanse himself, that person shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, since he has defiled the sanctuary of the Lord. The one who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and the one who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.

He shall cleanse himself with the water on the third day and on the seventh day, and so be clean. But if he does not cleanse himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not become clean.Whoever touches a dead person, the body of anyone who has died, and does not cleanse himself, defiles the tabernacle of the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not thrown on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is still on him.

Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand.For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being,but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.

And every person who eats what dies of itself or what is torn by beasts, whether he is a native or a sojourner, shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening; then he shall be clean.But if he does not wash them or bathe his flesh, he shall bear his iniquity.”

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires,and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

And he who burns them shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward he may come into the camp.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And he who lets the goat go to Azazel shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward he may come into the camp.

but deal only with food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.

For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.

You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.

and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.

In those days and in that time, declares the Lord, iniquity shall be sought in Israel, and there shall be none, and sin in Judah, and none shall be found, for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.
