And they sang a new song, saying:“ You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.In a loud voice they were saying:“ Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:“ To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”The four living creatures said,“ Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped. And a voice from heaven said,“ This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” (niv)

“ Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus,“ but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. (niv)

He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.”But I said,“ I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing at all. Yet what is due me is in the Lord’s hand, and my reward is with my God.”And now the Lord says— he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord and my God has been my strength—he says:“ It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”This is what the Lord says— the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel— to him who was despised and abhorred by the nation, to the servant of rulers:“ Kings will see you and stand up, princes will see and bow down, because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.” (niv)

When he heard this, Jesus said,“ This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” (niv)

Then Jesus said,“ Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said,“ Father, I thank you that you have heard me.I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice,“ Lazarus, come out!”The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them,“ Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” (niv)

Jesus commanded Peter,“ Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?” (niv)

When he was gone, Jesus said,“ Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him.If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once. (niv)

Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud:“ This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!” (niv)

“ Abba, Father,” he said,“ everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” (niv)

A voice came from the cloud, saying,“ This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him.” (niv)

He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying,“ This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” (niv)

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said,“ This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” (niv)

and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven:“ You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” (niv)

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, (niv)

to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (niv)

in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. (niv)

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me.God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ— to the glory and praise of God.
